The left gastroepiploic artery originates from the splenic artery and passes through the gastrolienal ligament to reach the stomach. The right gastroepiploic artery is a branch of the gastroduodenal artery . The left and right gastroepiploic arteries anastomose along the greater curvature of the stomach.
