Identify the following structures which are located most superior in the orbit (Figure 29.2)
As the ophthalmic division (V1) of the trigeminal nerve enters the orbit via the superior orbital fissure, it divides into three branches: the frontal nerve, the nasociliary nerve, and the lacrimal nerve. The supratrochlear nerve and the supraorbital nerve are branches of the frontal nerve.
