At the superior aspect of the right ventricle, examine the opening of the pulmonary trunk [probe passes out through the trunk]. This opening is guarded by the pulmonic valve, which is made up of the following three cusps, named also for their anatomical locations: an anterior cusp, a right cusp, and a left cusp (Figure 20.7).Links and References:
