The various bronchopulmonary segments of a lung are difficult to identify in the cadaveric specimen. Refer to a plastic model to identify them (Figure 19.7A).
In the right lung, identify the following bronchopulmonary segments:Superior Lobe
apical segment
posterior segment
anterior segment
lateral segment
medial segment
Inferior Lobe
superior segment
posterior basal segment
medial basal segment
anterior basal segment
lateral basal segment
